Now that you have paired it with the right furnace
November 07, 2026For over a year after install, we have fought crazy humidity levels. The installer couldn’t figure it out, Lennox wasn’t giving solution. We had to run near 24/7 a storm850 dehumidifier just to try to maintain 55% humidity in the house in Oklahoma, which drove our electric bill to nearly double. I should have know when the installer had to rig a connector because the unit didn’t come with one to match the furnace. Now that the installer has been told there is a mismatch, they replaced the furnace, and it’s a different story. It hasn’t been long enough to see the full benefits on average billing, but the unit handles the humidity perfectly, the thermostat is much nicer, the storm 850 was put away, and the daily use rate is half! This is what it should have been all along. If you get this smart, top-of-line outside unit, make sure they pair it with a smart and compatible furnace.
